Are Bee Natural products really natural?

Honey, beeswax and natural vegetable oils are sourced directly from nature. Other ingredients are plant derived and we avoid the use of colours and fragrances.

What are the beneficial properties of honey and beeswax for the skin?

Honey's healing power is believed to be due to its hygroscopic nature (ability to draw moisture). It is able to draw moisture from the air to help re-hydrate the skin. Beeswax is rich in protein and propolis, which is also high in natural healing properties, particularly for burns and scarring.

What is propolis?

Propolis is produced by bees to help seal wax and the honeycomb together and is well known for its strong healing qualities.Propolis offers antiseptic, antibiotic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. It helps to maintain clean skin preventing bacterial build up which can lead to blemishes.

Why do Bee Natural products work?

Drawing moisture from the air, the creams re-hydrate the skin, leaving it supple and soft and preventing signs of ageing.

Are Bee Natural products safe for sensitive skin or babies?

We have had very positive response from people with sensitive skin. Bee Natural products are very natural (see above question for explanation) and often provide relief for sufferers of skin complaints such as eczema or psoriasis. We always encourage customers to try a little bit on a small area of skin initially to see if it is suitable.

What is the difference between Bee Natural Facial Cream and Night Cream?

Facial cream is a lighter cream formulated with less beeswax and lighter oils. The night cream is formulated with more beeswax and richer oils for longer lasting nourishment.

What is the difference between Bee Natural Lip Salve and Lip Balm?

Lip salve contains camphor that is a good healing agent for cold sores. Lip Balm is nourishing for the lips with an added hint of Vanilla.

How long do the products last?

It is highly recommended that the products are kept in a cool place below 30 degrees Celsius, such as a bathroom cabinet or drawer. They do not need to be refrigerated. They should then last approx. 2 years.
